Ragosina and Chiaro will make their respective debuts at opposite ends of the world this week.
Ragosina will kick off her career in the 2yo Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Leicester in the UK on Tuesday.
The 2yo filly by Teofilo will race over 1400m first up, but will be looking for further distance in the future. Trainer James Ferguson is very taken with how she takes her work and says she is very well mannered and a good natured, smart filly.
“She certainly has taken a massive step forward recently and I look forward to her run.”

Chiaro, a 3yo colt by Caravaggio out of Wyetta will start in a 1000m 3yo Maiden at Bendigo on Thursday for trainer Matt Cumani.
After his convincing jump out win a couple weeks ago, Matt feels the colt is ready to step out to the races for the first time.
With Damian Lane booked to ride and blinkers on, Matt hopes for an enthusiastic effort from the horse and believes that, if he can race in a similar to that of his trial, he should show a positive performance.
Chiaro is the first foal out of Wyetta, a half-sister to OTI’s G1 Thousand Guineas winner, Aloisia. Wyetta’s second foal is by So You Think (with Annabel Neasham) and she has a Vadamos yearling filly in NZ.
