The OTI Team
Terry has been CEO of OTI Management Pty Ltd since its incorporation in 1999.
Terry holds a Bachelor of Business and Transport Economics. He has held numerous positions on boards, and has been chairman of a number of private companies. In his own right, Terry formed and developed the logistics management consultancy, Henderson Consultants. This company was sold to an international public company in 1996. Since then, Terry has tended to focus on his racing and breeding interests, centred around OTI.
Shayne is the General Manager of OTI, and is responsible for the day-to-day running of business.
With a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) behind him, Shayne commenced with OTI in 2004 as an Office Manager. He has spent his time since learning from Terry Henderson and Simon O’Donnell. Shayne has been involved in all facets of OTI’s business including racehorse management, communication with owners, accounts payable and receivable, financial statements, horse selection/purchase and marketing.
Hermione is our Australian and International Marketing Manager.
With her family’s background in the thoroughbred industry, Hermione has been involved in the many facets of the horse racing world. She has worked for some of the leading horse sales companies and has particular knowledge of England, Ireland and South Africa as a result. Having played professional golf on the Ladies European Tour, LET Access Series and the Sunshine Ladies Tour, Hermione has a wealth of experience when it comes to the game of golf.
Hermione's prime objective is to manage business development initiatives for OTI Management, to promote partnership and to foster partners’ racing experience through attendance at Australian and international race meetings, stable inspections, travel and attendance/participation in other sports. These services cover both international partners visiting Australia to race and well as Australian-based partners travelling interstate and overseas.
Ray has been OTI’s bookkeeper since early 2015.
With an Advanced Diploma of Business (Accounting), Ray spent 13 years working as a bookkeeping for a NASDAQ listed IT/Software company. Before that, he had a role with the National Australia Bank.
Ray has long had an interest in horse racing and is a VRC Member. He ensures OTI’s clients always get professional and accurate accounting services.
Fredericka was recently appointed as OTI’s Marketing Manager and is responsible for various facets of the company’s marketing strategy, including advertising, public relations and social media.
Fredericka graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Media and Communications. Having previously worked in a marketing role at the Victoria Racing Club, Fredericka brings an in-depth knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing strategies, with a focus on creating positive customer experiences for our clients.
Gus is OTI’s communication and administration assistant, a position that encompasses a wide variety of tasks within the office structure. Gus’ key role is to ensure our partners are well informed through a variety of communication channels and through diligent website maintenance.
Gus is currently studying a Bachelor of Business (Sport's Management) at Deakin University and joins OTI with plenty of business acumen. Having grown up on a farm in rural Victoria, his father’s passion and involvement in the racing industry has ignited his keen interest in racing upon leaving high school. Having previously completed research projects for OTI and worked with the yearling drafts at Rosemont Stud, he brings both hands-on equine knowledge, in conjunction with his growing knowledge of business operations to the team.
Campbell is OTI’s Equine Welfare Coordinator.
Campbell is currently studying a double degree in a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance at Monash University. Campbell’s strong interest in racing stemmed through his time at high school, seeing him complete work experience placements with OTI.
Having assisted in establishing our Equine Welfare Program at the end of 2019, he is now responsible for managing and tracking the progress of our past thoroughbreds.
