Sevenna’s Knight to press onto the G1 Prix Royal-Oak

The team at OTI and our owners involved in Sevenna’s Knight were extremely proud to see the entire lining up in the Group 1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp on Sunday. Whilst we all wish to be represented in a race of this nature, it was just as important to our owners that we be competitive.

In finishing 5th, closing off strongly from the rear of the field, Sevenna’s Knight was exactly that. It was a highly competitive performance at the top level over a distance you could consider is short of his best.

Trainer André Fabre has campaigned Sevenna’s Knight beautifully through the season, picking up three Group victories along the way. A well-timed quiet period through July and August has meant we have an entire with more to give following his Arc run, and it’s been confirmed that after pulling up well, his campaign will continue in the 3100m Group 1 Prix Royal-Oak at Saint-Cloud on October 27.

With a suitable step back out in trip and likely rain affected ground at that stage of the year, it appears a suitable Group 1 option and if he was to win, it would be a very memorable way to close out an outstanding season from the son of Camelot.
