OTI set to be strongly represented at the Warrnambool Carnival

The May Racing Carnival at Warrnambool has always been a much-anticipated event by many racing enthusiasts. In 2022, OTI and connections scored a winner on each day of the Carnival. While it was a quieter event for us last year, we’re looking to bounce back with over 10 potential runners set to line up over the three days of racing.

OTI’s 2022 Warrnambool winners (Rider In The Snow, Toregene, Marchon Ensemble)

Among the runners are two possible chances for the Warrnambool Cup, Guido and Win O’Clock. Win O’Clock has been a consistent competitor in Country Cups this season, winning the Hamilton Cup late last year and recently finishing 4th in the Terang Cup. He’ll appreciate getting out in trip on some softer ground. Guido could be racing on Day 1 of the Carnival in the 2350m BM70, with the Warrnambool Cup as a possible backup option if he runs as well as expected on the Tuesday. Another OTI horse, Romanesque nearly pulled off a stunning win in the Cup back in 2018 using the same method!

We also look forward to the return of talented mare Toregene, who broke her maiden at The Bool two years ago, as well as other exciting runners who will appreciate the possible softer ground.
