Four new arrivals to Australia

In the past week, we have had four of our recent international acquisitions arrive for their quarantine period at Donnybrook, VIC.

We are looking forward to seeing Kellstorm, the full-brother to multiple Group 1 winning Order of St George in the flesh.  Once out of quarantine, he will head to Yulong Park, just outside of Pakenham, for his acclimatisation period before heading to Darren Weir’s stable to commence his training.

Shakopee, a son of High Chaparral, has had 11 starts with Luca Cumani in Newmarket resulting in 3 wins and 3 2nds. After a nice spell, he will be heading to Matt Cumani for his Australian career.

We also have, in partnership with the AAR, Fandango who comes with consistent staying form.  From 10 starts he has 2 wins and 2 placings and will head straight from quarantine to Archie Alexander’s stables in Ballarat.  Archie is thrilled to have this horse in his stable.

Crocodile Shoes is a very lightly raced 3yo colt by Galileo, from 5 starts, he has 1 win and a third under his belt. He will enjoy a nice spell getting used to the Australian conditions.  We will decide on a trainer after assessing him further on departure from quarantine.

These boys are due out of quarantine next weekend and we can’t wait to see them!
