The weekly review and preview | December 12, 2016

A brief look back at our recent runners.

Mobaco (15th) ran a disappointing race at Coffs Harbour on Friday afternoon over 1600m.

Renew (6th) ran an even race at Morphettville on Saturday over 2014m. He hit the line strongly and will gain improvement off this effort.

La Dalliance (5th) was 3-4 wide for the entirety of her race at Stawell on Saturday over 1600m. The filly didn’t stop trying but simply ran out of steam over the last 300m. She continues to improve as a racehorse and should be breaking her maiden shortly.

Master Zephyr (3rd) put in a solid effort in the Werribee Cup on Sunday over 2030m. Coming from a wide gate, he had to work into the race and finished to the line strongly. We are glad to see this horse back to form and look forward to his next run.

Lidari (5th) battled to the line on Sunday in the Werribee Cup. With a heavy weight and the strong leader bias, it was a tough race for this boy. He has come through the run well.

Coming up this week….

Our Bazaar has accepted for a BM70 race on Wednesday over 1600m at Mornington. This will be his first up run in some time.

Praecereus in aimed for a BM70 race over 1600m on Wednesday at Mornington. After a solid performance for a 3rd in his first up run, he should do well in this race, over a better suited distance.

Plymouth Road has been nominated for a BM70 race over 2200m at Geelong on Thursday.

Gallic Chieftain is aimed for a BM84 2000m at Flemington on Saturday. Coming into this race from a good win at Pakenham, if this colt puts in a similar performance, he should be hard to beat.

Tucano is set for a 1600m race on Saturday at Flemington.

Lord Van Percy has been nominated for two races on Saturday. A 2500m race at Flemington, alternatively a 2400m Listed Christmas Cup at Royal Randwick.
