The exciting 3-year-old son of D’Argento, Didn’t Miss Many, is heading to the races for the first time at Geelong on Sunday for OTI and Archie Alexander.
Acquired late in 2023 with 2yo autumn aspirations on the back of a strong trial win in NZ, connections have had to be patient with the colt. That patience we trust will soon be rewarded.
This colt is a son of D’Argento (by So You Think), part of his first crop. With limited runners, given a propensity to produce middle-distance and staying types, he has recorded a handful of winners but with the promise of many more now that oldest crop has turned three.
Didn’t Miss Many has exquisite bloodlines. His dam has produced two winners from her only two foals to race and has the DNA of Snitzel and Montjeu coursing through her veins.
Didn’t Miss Many will debut with the benefit of two further jumpouts behind him, having contested trials at St Arnaud and Burrumbeet through August. With Declan Bates jumping on board for his debut, he could be in no better hands and will line up in barrier 3. View the full field and all race details here.

Whatever Didn’t Miss Many produces on Sunday, he is sure to be improved from the experience. Let’s hope he can exceed all expectations and give all fathers in attendance a win as a gift.
