One youngster making quite the impression on his new stable is our Ace High colt out of Shockfactor, acquired at Karaka earlier in 2023. Appealing as a leggy colt with a ‘cool’ demeanour, he was the pick of the Ace High progeny at the sale. With Roger James and Robert Wellwood also indicating a liking for the colt, he entered their care soon thereafter.
Our colt has completed a period in the James/Wellwood stable, designed to get a taste of stable and racetrack life. His progress was most pleasing and he will now benefit further for a break before commencing his first official full-training preparation.
Given the impact that Ace High is having through the early stages of his stallion career, and on the physical progression and professionalism our colt has already displayed, we have confidence that he has the necessary ability to make an impact on the NZ racing scene.
NZ is renowned for its ability to breed quality, young stayers and we hope that we’ve found another.
