A Baroness in the Making

2yo filly Baroness Von Aesch has been working progressively in the yard of Joseph O’Brien and continues to do well in her training. Since her early education, the daughter of Amaron has developed into a good sized filly with plenty of scope and we could possibly see her at the races by the end of August or in early September.

“She’s a big filly and we’ve given her plenty of time, but she is progressing well. She will have a gallop next week and I’ll probably send her to a trial at the Curragh a week after that. Hopefully we’ll be at the races in a month time and I’d expect her to be quickly competitive. We’ll assess further plans after her first race start, but I’m very happy with how she’s coming along.”, says trainer Joseph O’Brien.

Should Baroness Von Aesch show a competitive effort in her first race starts, she would then be aimed towards the 3yo European Classics next year.

We look forward to the further progression of this filly and await her debut race in late August.
