Will Serenade the Stars be following Patchewollock’s winning streak?

We are starting our weekend with success already in France where Patchewollock won his race over 1400m, making it two in a row for the Fastnet gelding. The track was heavy and an unsuitable distance for the horse but he finished very strongly and showed he has a lot of potential. Following his success in Europe, a ticket to Australia looks to be on the cards. We are hoping he can follow in Fastnet Latina’s footsteps who started his career in America before arriving on Australia’s land and has been proving his success with 4 straight wins for Archie Alexander.

We have just one runner tomorrow, Serenade the Stars who will be heading to Caulfield and making the trip over 2400m. His work this week has been terrific and has been pleasing the Gelagotis team. His previous runs in Australia have been strong and unfortunately his last run the jockey dropped the whip in the straight, so was unable to finish to his full potential. The Sea the Stars gelding won first time out in Australia and is showing there is more to give. The team believes that this horse is going to be hard to beat tomorrow.

Best of luck!
