Two exciting OTI internationals to make their Australian debut

This week, we look forward to two exciting horses hitting the track in Australia for the first time.

On Wednesday, talented filly Emilia Jane will make her Australian debut for her new ownership group and trainer Joe Pride at Warwick Farm.

Purchased after a very impressive run at Te Rapa in New Zealand, where she was narrowly beaten, the filly made her way over to Australia. Since then she has nothing but impressed her stable and trialled positively in the lead up.

Emilia Jane has accepted for the 1300m Super Maiden ($100,000) at Warwick Farm on Wednesday, where she’s drawn barrier 2 in a field of 9 with Tyler Schiller booked to ride at 58kgs.

Travelling over from Europe late last year, Everything Counts joined the team at Price Kent Racing and is due to make his Australian debut this Thursday night at Pakenham.

“He is going super. He improved every furlong in his latest piece of work and was strong to the line. He has a very nice action on him and recovered quickly. Since he has been gelded he has been a different horse and I’m looking forward to a very nice first run from him at Pakenham.”, commented co-trainer Michael Kent Jnr.

Everything Counts showed glimpses of high-level of talent in France, and now gelded, he can start to deliver on the potential shown. The 4yo heads into Thursday’s race on the back of two promising trials, the first being a winning one.
