Top Class 4yo Stallion joins OTI

Longvillers is a very imposing 4yo stallion, who was recently acquired by OTI, with his previous owner and breeder, Gerard Augustin Normand retaining 50% of him. He is very sound, correct and has the looks of a champion. He handles all surfaces but is especially strong with sting out of the ground. To go with his good looks, he can sustain a strong sprint in races up to 2000m.

Longvillers has raced 13 time for 3 wins 3 seconds and 4 thirds and is rated 102 in France. He has been placed 3 times in stakes races.

Being by Le Havre (who Augustin-Normand owned as a racehorse and stallion), Longvillers will continue to improve as a 5yo. Now deceased, Le Havre was one of France’s top sires for many years. He is well known to OTI as the sire of Harbour Views. The family is strong throughout and includes the Australian champion racehorse, Pierro in the third dam.

Longvillers is planned to start in a G3 1600m race in Deauville on August 28. He will then transfer to Chris Waller’s control in the UK to be prepared for the Five Diamonds, a new $2m race for 5yo’s over 1800m in Sydney on November 5.

The Five Diamonds could only be the first step in what should be an exciting career for the horse in Australia.

We look forward to an exciting future with this handsome boy!
