He trialled this morning at the Sunshine Coast on the inner track over 1000m where he finished 4th in a field of 5 with James Orman aboard. He jumped away okay to settle just in behind the speed where he raced tractably through the early and mid-stages. James started to build him through his gears turning for home and once he balanced up in the straight, James encouraged him to quicken and he finished off well.
James said he trialled okay. He got a little flat footed when they quickened but he held his ground nicely to the line. He is likely to have a 2nd trial or jumpout in two weeks and then be ready to race shortly after that.
