Quality colt destined for Australia

Joining OTI Racing a few months ago, this good-looking 2yo colt has commenced his early education and training with Tim Donworth, who has already enjoyed stakes winning success from his Chantilly base in France.

The son of Le Havre has pleased everyone in his education up to this point and has developed into a nice 2yo. He shows very good action and movement in his work and is quite athletic. “Honestly, I just love him to bits. He eats well, is a great mover and strengthend up a lot since he joined us. He’s very sound and has a great attitude towards his work. He’s a beauty!”, says Donworth.

It is not only the physical attributes that make this colt attractive. The dam side of his family has had great success in Europe and Australia and includes last year’s Melbourne Cup winner Gold Trip.

His sire Le Havre is already well-known to OTI as the sire of Harbour Views, who won his first five career starts in succession and performed well on numerous occasions at Group and Listed level, including a Listed win in ‘The Sofitel’ over 1400m at Flemington in 2021.

Showing the classic looks of a French Derby horse, a 2yo race debut is not unrealistic. With his education and experience in France behind him, the colt is expected to move to Australia and into the Price Kent stable at the conclusion of his three-year-old season.

We look forward to a bright future with him!
