OTI heads to The Heath with confidence High

High Bridge will be chasing back to back staying successes when he ventures to Caulfield for the first time on Saturday.

A dominant last start winner at Flemington, he steps out in a 2407m Handicap (Race 3 – 1:45pm AEDT). Dwayne Dunn will again take the ride after the most recent victory and will jump from barrier five in the seven horse field. After taking good confidence from the January 18 victory the horse is very well placed to make it two on the trot.

Dark Pearl (barrier eleven) is another looking for consecutive wins when he tackles a 2000m Bm78 at Randwick (Race 6 – 3:50pm AEDT). Nash Rawiller is the man tasked with the job after lifting Dark Pearl late at the Kensington track on January 3. He has been kept up to the mark with a quiet recent trial and we expect him to be strong late.

At Eagle Farm, Le Juge (barrier five) and Master Zephyr (barrier two) will both take their place in a 1840m Open Handicap (Race 4 – 3:23pm AEDT). Le Juge will appreciate the rise in trip after contesting races over a mile of recent times and be partnered by Larry Cassidy. Dale Smith assumes the ride on Master Zephyr, who is showing a continued zest for racing and arrives in to the race third up after an encouraging run here two weeks ago.

Two runners will take their part at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday. Romanesque (Race 4 – 3:35pm AEDT) is second up in to a 1600m CL3. He ran a good race fresh at Doomben and expect him to be more than competitive here jumping from barrier five with Justin Huxtable to ride. Mighty Quinn (Race 7 – 5:30pm AEDT) has Dale Smith aboard in an 1800m CL1 and we hope to see an improved effort back on top of the ground.

Best of luck to all connections across the weekend!
