CHAT WITH PHILL CATALDO

Racing was always in my family. My father owned a few horses and racing was his hobby. Every school holidays I would go to the track and stables and did race day duties with our horses. I didn’t realise it was going to be a career path, but I just loved it from the start. Racing has always been a hot topic in our household.”

THE JOY OF BEING AT THE RACES

People are not gloomy when they go racing. Indeed, from the earliest chariot races, the excitement and anticipation of going to the track has produced joy for generation after generation. When times are tough – depressions, wars, environmental challenges – society has sought out racing.
