Le Juge well placed at Saint-Cloud

Le Juge heads to the Prix Flying Dutchman over a mile at Saint-Cloud on Thursday evening (Race 5, 10:50pm). The 4yo entire, who has been racing consistently without winning, is looking to break a 15-month drought.

Trained by Andre Fabre, Le Juge has shown a great deal of promise. He was a dual 2yo winner before returning as a 3yo with a strong win at Chantilly in March, 2016. Subsequently, Le Juge has done much of his racing at stakes level and been most competitive.

Thursday’s race at Saint-Cloud provides a tremendous opportunity for Le Juge to re-join the winner’s list. Fabre has been most impressed with the entire since his last start fifth over 1800m at Lyon and the drop to 1600m poses little concern.

Lu Juge will get a 2kg weight relief with apprentice, Miss Pauline Domonois, set to take the ride. Domonois is a well-credentialed apprentice with 79 wins under her belt. From barrier two, Le Juge should enjoy a soft run in transit before hopefully gaining clean air and attacking the line with vigour.

Down in class, Le Juge looks very hard to beat and hopefully, his patient partners can savour another victory at Saint-Cloud on Thursday. OTI wishes partners the very best of luck.
