With The Valley night meetings returning to the calendar, we look forward to kicking it off with a Group 3 contender on Friday.
Quality 3yo filly Lady Laguna will start in the G3 Scarborough Stakes over 1200m, with Jamie Kah booked to ride. She had a very successful two-year-old campaign, and has resumed as a 3yo in good style, only being out of the placings twice from her eight career starts.
With a very positive 2nd placing last time out in the Listed Atlantic Jewel Stakes at The Valley, we expect another positive showing.
“She’s come on nicely from her second up run, she galloped at The Valley this morning to give her another look at the track and she worked very well. Jamie was very happy with her,” says trainer Annabel Neasham.
