Gallic Chieftain ran an outstanding race at Randwick on Saturday to claim the Group 2 Chairman’s Quality over 2600m. In doing so, he proved himself a leading chance for a repeat performance should he back up well this Saturday in the Group 1 Sydney Cup, again at Randwick.
