Exciting youngster Cadazio ready for debut

All the better for his jump out and trial experiences, Cadazio will have his first start at Geelong on Friday (Race 4 over 1400m) with Jye McNeil booked to ride.

Cadazio has already made headlines across the racing industry’s various social media platforms and already appears to have a following. In his post-trial interview, trainer Michael Kent Jnr. even compared him to Group 1 SA Derby winner Jungle Magnate, who was sold to Hong Kong earlier this year and shares the same sire with Cadazio.

It is well known that Tarzino has a spot close to Mick Price’s heart, bringing him multiple G1 success on the track. Off the track, Tarzino has already produced multiple Group 1 winners, including Gypsy Goddess, who won the Queensland Oaks in June 2022 and the earlier mentioned Jungle Magnate.

An impressive trialler at Cranbourne on July 4, where he ran the fastest 990m time of the morning, it is to no surprise that Cadazio is tipped favourite for his debut performance.

The Gelding has been kept fresh after his recent jump out and, on exposed talent, he should have a good chance of breaking his maiden on debut.
