Breeding, Talent and Value make Solstice an Attractive Acquisition

A beautifully-bred daughter of Nathaniel, Solstice is due to run at Haras du Pin in France on Sunday. In a very competitive field the 3yo filly – a sister to OTI’s ever consistent Lorne – is expected to take great improvement from her first appearance on the racetrack.

Mario Baratti trains Solstice from his stable in Chantilly. Mario commented ‘’This late developing filly is a lovely mover. She has more speed than her sister had at the same age. I think she could make it to stakes grade.”

With Nathaniel as her sire, Solstice has superior upside as a broodmare should she reach the heights perceived by her trainer. That, combined with her eligibility for French-bred racing premiums, makes her a most attractive acquisition for owners looking for both stake monies and residual values.
