Vina Sena taking a big leap

Since his debut win at Dundalk, Ireland back in December 2021, Vina Sena has come along nicely and is ready to resume his racing career, now as a three-year-old.

The Vadamos colt is set to start in the P.W. McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes, a G3 over 2000m in Leopardstown, Ireland on Saturday. With many runners having Derby aspirations, it is not an easy task for a horse having just his 2nd race start. Drawing barrier 9 of 9 does not assist.

“It’s a leap into the big time for this colt, but we’re excited to have him in this race” said OTI CEO, Terry Henderson. “He was most impressive on debut as a two-year-old and we hope to see him stamp his claims on a tilt towards the 3yo classics this season with a positive first-up showing.”

The 3yo colt is reported to be thriving in his work and doing everything right in the lead-up to Saturday. He appears to have great potential!

Good luck to all connections.
