With the purchase of South Africa’s top-rating 3yo filly, Under Your Spell, OTI has secured a majority interest in a youngster who shows the potential to compete on the global stage before hopefully producing a champion as a broodmare.
Rated 119 and as a winner and runner up in Group 1’s and Group 2’s, the filly has been dominant between 1000m and 1600m.
She has shown consistent Group 1 form and competed against some tough horses, who moved on to do bigger and better things. She was also the only 3yo filly to take on the colts.
Possessed with a devastating finish, the filly is poised to take her place for new owners in the Group 1, 1200m Fillies event at Scottsville on June 4.
