Sweet comeback awaits Pick ‘N’ Mix

Promising four-year-old mare Pick ‘N’ Mix is set to resume this Wednesday as she looks to continue an already impressive start to her racing career. The New Zealand-bred daughter of Turn Me Loose, trained by Tony and Calvin McEvoy, has quickly made a name for herself with three wins from just four starts.

Pick ‘N’ Mix showed her talent early with an impressive debut win at Cranbourne, followed by two more wins at Geelong and Ballarat. Such was the opinion of her as a three-year-old filly, she was being aimed toward a Listed event before a minor procedure was needed to fix an entrapped epiglottis.

Pick ‘N’ Mix wins her Flemington trial in November.

Following a short break and a smart return trial at Flemington, she now makes a return to the races and appears ready to pick up where she left off. She will resume in the 1000m Fillies & Mares BM70 at Caulfield Heath on Wednesday, with Logan Bates booked to ride. Click here (add link please) to view the field.

Pick ‘N’ Mix shapes as an exciting mare to follow this preparation and we wish her connections all the very best of luck.
