Sevenna’s Knight to start career as a stallion

With five victories, four being at Group or Listed level, and multiple placings at Group 1 level from his 23 starts, Sevenna’s Knight has been a wonderful horse for his owners at OTI.

Unfortunately, a suspensory issue has brought his racing career to an end, and the decision has been made to retire him from the track. He will now embark on the next chapter of his career, with plans in place for him to stand as a stallion in Europe.

The highlights of Sevenna’s Knight’s racing career were many, most notably his 5th placing in the 2024 Group 1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and his dominant Group 2 victory in the Prix Vicomtesse Vigier (now a Group 1).

A magnificent individual by Camelot, Sevenna’s Knight has always been a favourite of his trainer, André Fabre. In fact, it was Fabre who strongly recommended OTI to acquire the horse when he was offered for sale by his breeders as a late three-year-old. That proved inspired.

While he will be sorely missed by his owners and the stable, we look forward to seeing this remarkably consistent racehorse relocate to a leading European stud, where he can make his mark in a new discipline.

Sevenna’s Knight will be offered for online sale through new French auction house ATKEM on February 13.
