At 4yo, Sevenna’s Knight (Camelot) has never looked so strong. In the Prix Gladiateur (Gr3), the OTI Management horse won his third Group race in 2024, after his successes in the Prix de Barbeville (Gr3) and Vicomtesse Vigier (Gr2). This season, with Double Major (Daiwa Major), whom he beat twice, he is France’s best stayer. It remains to be seen whether he will take the option of the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (Gr1) or whether he will play the safety card with the Qatar Prix du Cadran (Gr1).
Sevenna’s Knight galloped into third place behind River of Stars (Sea the Stars) and Harbour Wind (Nathaniel). Unseated 400m from the finish, André Fabre’s stablemate came up to the leaders before easily dominating them in the last hundred meters.

OTI’s Terry Henderson added “The conditions in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud didn’t necessarily suit him. He had a good few weeks between runs. Andre did a great job of bringing him back in top condition. It was a very easy watch. If we get soft conditions in October, the Arc is certainly the number one option for him. That would be very exciting for his connections.”
The 4yo entire is certainly one of the most exciting stayers in France at the moment. We’re hopeful he can continue to take his owners on an incredible journey in October and beyond.
