The ever reliable Romancer will be hoping for a strong pace. This will enable him to swoop into this race late. With luck, he could well be in the finish.

On the back of his strong Bendigo win, Spirit of Gaylard is expected to perform well here. A good run will set him up for a Group 1 test during the Carnival.
