We are pleased to announce the majority acquisition of a progressive New Zealand bred gelding by Roc De Cambes, the sire of our 2018 Group 1 New Zealand Derby winner, Vin De Dance.
Trained by Matthew Dunn, the exciting ‘Stuck With You’ is already a proven performer up to 1845 metres, boasting four wins from just 10 starts.
Having won his past two starts by a combined margin of 3.6 lengths, we are expecting the lightly raced prospect to continue to scale further heights, including various middle-distance cups throughout the upcoming Queensland carnival.
OTI will race Stuck With You with Lindsay de Souza, who retains a 25 percent interest in the progressive stayer having purchased the horse as a yearling in 2017. Stuck With You is the third named foal out of unraced mare, Taupaki Flight (NZ) (British Banker {Can}).
Taupaki Flight herself is from a family of winners, with all three of her raced half siblings prevailing between 1200 and 1400 metres. However, staying blood also runs deep throughout her pedigree, with the 1996 Group 1 AJC Metropolitan H. winner and former champion filly Hula Flight (Hula Town) featuring.
