In conjunction with the Price/Kent stable, we are delighted to confirm the purchase of Group performed 3yo colt, Saganti. He will join the horses in Newmarket quarantine aimed towards the Sydney Spring Carnival, with races like the $2m Group 2 Hill Stakes and $750,000 Rosehill Gold Cup on the agenda.
Previously raced by the Aga Khan, Saganti comes from a quality family. By impressive stallion Zarak, he is a half-brother to the French Champion Older Female Miler, Sagamiyra. He’ll enter Australia’s middle-distance ranks with strong formlines, having finished 2nd in the Group 3 Prix du Lys.
Saganti’s win at Compiegne and 2nd at Chantilly.
Saganti joins a wave of OTI gallopers currently in quarantine or scheduled for arrival in the next six weeks. Talented 3yo, Portsmouth, arrived in Australia last weekend. He’ll be trained by Annabel Neasham with the intention of a light, but hopefully successful campaign.
Paradise Storm (Henry Dwyer), Zweig (Annabel Neasham) and Deakin (Phillip Stokes) arrive in mid-August and will join their respective stables towards the end of the month. How each settle in and adapts to their new environments will dictate their late spring campaigns.

Highly talented Sea The Moon filly, Tournelle and Hampden are scheduled to arrive in September as the first of the Eurolink horses to come to Australia. They’ll join the Anthony/Sam Freedman and John O’Shea/Tom Charlton stables respectively.

Sitting back in the UK waiting for his chance to join the travellers is Docklands. Now rated 115, he’ll join Saganti in quarantine in Newmarket with a Cox Plate mission his main target.
