Not yet seen on Australian racetracks, Extra Elusive will make is Australian debut this Saturday at Sandown for trainer Symon Wilde and connections.
The 8yo son of Mastercraftsman was unfortunate to miss out on racing earlier this year, but after a small hold up he will return, this time in the Southern Hemisphere.
Extra Elusive arrived in Australia at the start of this year after racing very successfully in the UK. He kicked his career off by winning two of three races in his two-year-old year. He then went on to place in multiple Listed and Group races before winning his first Group 3, the Rose Of Lancaster in August 2020. Immediately after, he added a second Group 3 win in the Winter Hill Stakes.
In Europe, he raced a total of 22 times which included 5 wins, 4 seconds and 3 thirds. He already is a multiple Group 3 winner and placegetter and has raced and won against well-known superstar and multiple Group 1 winner Zaaki.
Watch his Group 3 win in the Rose Of Lancaster against Zaaki below.
Extra Elusive will start in Race 5, a Benchmark 100 over 1600m at Sandown on Saturday and will race in a field of 9, jumping from barrier 7. Craig Williams will take the ride on the 8yo, who will also have to race against the new up and coming OTI horse Green Fly, who won impressively last start at Ballarat.

Best of luck to all connections on Saturday!
