This week we have two runners out in the field before Christmas is upon us who are both from Matt Cumani’s stable. Corrs will be making the trip over 2400m at Sandown and although an outside barrier has been drawn, Matt is still confident that this filly will make the trip. Last time out was over 2400m at Sandown and was once again drawn the outside barrier. The filly showed determination although still lacking some fitness which was evident in the last 100m. Matt believes the horse has been handling the step up well and the 2400m should suit.
On Thursday we have Urban Royal who will be heading out to Seymour over 1400m with Linda Meech onboard. This filly who was third last time out is in great shape almost better than previous races. Matt Cumani is very happy with how she has settled since her last run and Seymour is a track that this horse enjoys following a previous outing on 16th November winning by a head.
