Our next feature edition of “Behind the Scenes” sees us explore the rehabilitation achievements of Warrnambool trainer Matthew Williams. Williams has a number of OTI horses stabled at his property who have all relished in the personalised attention and round the clock care. The facilities available to the team have ensured an abundance of winners and rehabilitation success stories. Williams in conjunction with Ballarat vet Andrew Cust, have been integral elements in Gailo Chop’s return to the racetrack. We are looking forward to seeing their injury management program come to fruition when Gailo has his first start this preparation and heads toward the 2019 Cox Plate.
