Araaja steps out over 2000m tonight in her first Listed event. Araaja is the half-sister to Tom Melbourne and has proven to be quite an impressive stayer with a 50% win strike rate, three wins and one place out of her 6 starts to date. The filly is trained in France by Antoine de Watrigant who is confident she will be very competitive in tonight’s race.

We’ve long known this filly had stakes winning potential so let’s hope we can get the result tonight. If Araaja is to add some black type to her pedigree, it will increase her value as a broodmare significantly.
