Aloisia – 200th individual winner for OTI

On Saturday at Flemington our small, yet very talented Kiwi filly – Aloisia made her impressive Australian debut with a strong win.

This two-year-old daughter of Azamour, is most likely heading to Brisbane to run in the Group 1 JJ Atkins on June 10th.

Purchased following an impressive 2nd place at Trentham, NZ over 1200m in March, she was then transferred to Ciaron Maher’s stable at Caulfield. Aloisia had pleased the camp in her work and headed into Saturday’s race on the back of a solid trial win at Cranbourne on a heavy track.

The jockey, Michael Dee, reported following her win ‘she tries hard and seems to love what she’s doing.’ These are all beneficial attributes that will assist Aloisia as she targets better races going forward.

This filly is an exciting prospect, who should flourish in the spring.

Congratulations to all the connections!
