With the 2022/23 season imminent, we must prepare our insurance needs for the upcoming year.
We propose to insure Ultimate Focus for this upcoming season at a value of $300,000. Following discussions with our insurance company, the insurance rate will again be 3.90% p.a., so the cost of insurance for the whole horse will be $11,700 + GST (placed on Victorian based horses), which is $585 + GST per 5% owned.
Consistent with previous years, the Emergency Surgery Provision is included in the contract, which provides up to $10,000 of cover should circumstances arise where life-saving surgery is required.
Should you not wish for insurance to be taken out for your interest/s, you must notify us before the 31st July 2022.
