With 5 races as a 2yo behind her, Mo Ghille Mar is now poised to make her mark in the early part of the 2024 racing season as a 3yo.
The daughter of Zoffany recorded 3 placings from those 5 starts as a juvenile, and was considered quite unlucky not to break her maiden status during that preparation. With additional strength and maturation, we’re positive that we’ll see her winning soon, prior to progressing to black-type racing in mid-2024. Assuming a rating of 85 or more can be achieved by the end of the season, it is quite likely that we will see her move to Australia towards the end of the year.
Mo Ghille Mar finished a close 2nd at her third career start at Curragh (IRE) in September 2023.
Mo Ghille Mar is from the family of Pyledriver, considered one of the world’s best older horses and a Group 2 winner at Royal Ascot in 2023.
