GEN X PARTNERSHIP
OTI Gen X Partnership is a racing partnership designed to engage young, like-minded racing enthusiasts. The ownership group is built around premium on and off track racing experiences.
The OTI Gen X Partnership comprises three quality yearling fillies and a 2YO. Each filly was selected with both racing success and bloodstock trading opportunities in mind.
OTI have chosen four of the best young trainers in Australia to represent the partnership. Ciaron Maher, Amy Johnston, Archie Alexander and Matt Cumani are the appointed trainers. This is a quality group of trainers who excel in client communication.
The flagship horse is a 50% share in So Far Sokool to be trained by Archie Alexander. The 2YO was acquired from New Zealand on the back of a scintillating 4.5L win at Avondale. On May 27, she gained ‘black type’ when second in a Listed 1400m race at Ellerslie. She will be aimed at the better 3YO Fillies races during the Spring Carnival and should see the partnership at the races early-spring.
Ciaron Maher is excited to be training our daughter of Pierro. This filly is out of Rock Success, a half-sister to stakes winners Sea Siren (Group 1 winner), Lady Dehee, Discorsi and Oratorio. A strong filly, she has a powerful shoulder, forearm and gaskin. She is balanced in her walk and well-proportioned from head to tail. She is the epitome of an early-running filly.
Matt Cumani was immediately impressed with the Star Witness yearling filly purchased at the Melbourne VOBIS Sale in April. This filly is by Elle’s Decree, a half-sister to Malaguerra and dam of two winners from three foals to race. Described as a masculine looking filly with a strong hindquarter. She is an excellent moving type that is easy on the eye with excellent conformation.
The final filly in the partnership is the daughter of Magnus heading to Amy Johnston at Mornington. Magnus is one of the leading Victorian sire’s and is continually throwing good quality racing stock. This filly’s dam is The Girlfriend, a successful broodmare that has left stakes winner, Mister Milton, among her three winners from four foals to race. Amy has been glowing in her reports on this filly throughout her breaking-in process.
While the cornerstone of the partnership is quality horses, a major component is the provision of a RACING PLUS experience. OTI Gen X Partnership will promote interaction and networking of partners. Luncheons with trainers, social activities, business networks, Chairman’s Club access, visits to training facilities and assistance for members seeking overseas racing and sporting adventures will feature prominently.
This is a rare opportunity to race a team of quality fillies and enjoy the thrill of ownership with a group of like-minded younger individuals. OTI Gen X Partnership is revolutionary with its mission to engage young people in the great sport of horse racing.
