Rockfall

Trainer Lucy Yeomans (Cranbourne)
Age 3yo gelding

The Story

Rockfall is an exciting young gelding who has continued to impress since joining Lucy Yeomans’ Cranbourne stable.

A good-looking son of El Roca (sire of OTI’s Group winner Perfumist), Rockfall is a strong, athletic type with an excellent physical presence and the pedigree to develop into a quality 1400m to 1600m performer.

He created an immediate impression when winning his first trial, producing an excellent performance that reinforced the confidence of both Lucy and leading jockey Blake Shinn.

Importantly, he possesses natural speed while also showing the ability to sustain his effort, an encouraging sign as he continues to mature.

With the stable taking a patient approach to his development, Rockfall shapes as a highly promising three-year-old.
