We are delighted to introduce a highly promising 2yo Dundeel colt, Castles In Spain, who was referred to us by Dom Sutton just a few weeks ago. As you’ll hear from Dom below, he has made a strong impression to date and is held in high regard by all those who have worked with him.
Dom has already enjoyed great success with this style of horse, most notably Australian Guineas winner Feroce. Of further relevance, Feroce is by Super Seth, a son of Dundeel.
Standing at $66,000 this season, Dundeel needs little introduction. He has established himself as one of Australasia’s leading sires and an emerging sire of sires, with sons including Castelvecchio, Celestial Legend and Super Seth. Castles In Spain is out of a half-sister to champion sire Not A Single Doubt, himself the sire of 79 Stakes winners. On pedigree and type, we believe the colt has all the makings of an ideal Guineas horse.
A 10% interest is priced at $17,500 + GST, with 5% available for $8,750 + GST. These figures include all associated costs through to September 30, 2026, as well as insurance cover through to March 31, 2027.
