The Story

CLASSY CONTRIBUTER FILLY | WITH OTI RACING & TONY PIKE

Final shares remain in this beautiful filly by Contributer, headed to leading New Zealand trainer, Tony Pike.

From the moment she was inspected at the Karaka Yearling Sale, she made a strong impression. Identified alongside our trusted bloodstock agent Phill Cataldo, the filly immediately stood out for her fluent, athletic movement, excellent balance, and professional temperament. When it became clear that Tony Pike shared the same strong opinion of the filly, we teamed up to secure her at what we believe was terrific value.

Phill’s thoughts can be heard in the video below, along with footage of the filly at Tony Pike’s stable.

During his time at stud, Contributer firmly established himself as a proven sire of elite performers, producing multiple Group 1 winners, including top-class mare Campionessa. This filly forms part of his final crop following his passing in 2024. His progeny are renowned for excelling over middle-distance/staying trips and improving with age.

The filly is working through her first educational preparation where she has handled everything with ease so far. Completing her initial work with renowned educator Sam Beatson, before heading in for a short stint at Tony Pike’s Cambridge stable. Her riders have already praised her fluent movement and lovely attitude.

For us, this filly represents a terrific value ownership opportunity. With time, we believe she has the foundations to develop into a top racehorse and bolster our ever-growing New Zealand racing team.

For New Zealand-based owners, a 5% interest in this filly is priced at NZ$6,200 + GST. For Australian-based owners, a 5% interest is priced at AU$5,400.
