Suntory created an immediate impression in his first and only trial, winning comfortably in sharp time, while appearing to have plenty in hand.
He showed natural speed, a fluent stride and an effortless way of covering the ground. Importantly, everything about his physique and pedigree suggests he will be even better as he stretches out to 1600m and beyond.
By Satono Aladdin, whose statistics in Australasia are elite, Suntory has the profile of a three-year-old who should continue to improve with age and distance.
Following a faultless vetting, he will join Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr, a stable with an outstanding record of developing talented young horses like Suntory through their grades and into stakes company.
Unraced and untapped, Suntory has already demonstrated considerable ability and shapes as an exciting middle-distance prospect for the seasons ahead.
Wholesale opportunities are available for experienced owners with a budget in excess of $12,500.
