See below an update from Chris Waller:

Following a week on the treadmill, he has been moving freely and was back on the track and straight away he got a similar report to last week. Based on this, the vet went over him and has come up with the following conclusion. He has small shallow feet which are showing some changes (concave shape). This unsoundness in the vets opinion is therefore related to his front feet and the vet believes that six to eight weeks out will do him the world of good. It would also be good timing to get him gelded and further to that, he is obviously a lighter boned horse and in our opinion, the vet and myself, these horses take a little bit longer to adjust. Rather than continuing to nurse him through this period, I think we are better off biting the bullet and giving him that six to eight week spell now, put the weight on him and get his feet right, and we will have plenty of horse to work with in the autumn.
