• After a 7-length demolition in his maiden win at Bendigo, we have confidence that Tigre Royale is a young stayer with ability.
• A scopey, athletic type who stands at 16.1hh and is trained by Archie Alexander at Ballarat.
• 4yo gelding from Crown Tigress (by Hold That Tiger). Tigre Royale comes from a good staying pedigree and is by Redwood, a stallion whom OTI has enjoyed success with Night’s Watch and Romancer.
• Tigre Royale’s third dam is a half-sister to stallions Danewin and Commands who have gone on to make their mark in the Australian sires ranks.
• Archie Alexander is impressed by his attitude this time in, having given him plenty of time to mature both physically and mentally. He is now poised to capitalise on that patient grounding with racetrack success during his four-year-old season and beyond.
• Tigre Royale is now back in work with Archie Alexander and he is impressed by his improvement after his recent spell.
• We hope to see him progress through to city class in the summer and autumn periods, with his main target being the Warrnambool Cup in May, 2020.
• This 5% share is priced at $7,694.50 (inclusive of GST) with all costs paid to October 31 2019, and with insurance cover taken out to July 31 2020.
