Will the stars shine brightly at Hamilton?

After a hugely successful 2017, 2018 looks to be following from our success with two wins already on the board. Romancer took the first win of 2018 and then yesterday Corrs followed in his footsteps with a good win at Geelong. With another horse losing its rider at the start and causing some harassment on speed throughout the race, Corrs sat comfortably midfield.  Around the turn, she was the horse you wanted to be on and she went clear to win by two lengths.

Star D’Vega steps out today in a 2200m race at Hamilton for the Alexander stable. Last time out, this filly broke her maiden in convincing fashion in an eight-length win at Geelong. This filly does not have size on her side but has put some weight on over the festive period which should put her in good sted today. Archie is very pleased with the progress the Lope De Vega filly has made following her last race and is in good form ahead of today’s run despite an outside barrier.

Best of luck to all connections!
