Petruchio ready for his debut at Kempton Park tonight

Heading back to the UK, we have Petruchio stepping out for his debut at Kempton Park tonight.  The New Approach colt has been working well for the Walker stable in Lambourn and has been showing some promising form. Liam Keniry will be onboard and has been riding the horse in all his work, which alongside with barrier one should give him every chance.

Although the horse has taken some time to develop, he has really shown his potential in the last few months. The performance from this race will assist us to determine the next steps for the horse and whether to continue on an all-weather track or head to the turf.

In Australia, Corrs steps out in a 2447m race in Geelong for the Cumani stable on Thursday. In her last start over 2400m, the filly showed she could sustain a longer trip and was very strong through the line. Matt is confident that the distance will suit the horse following her current work at home.

Best of luck to all connections!
