We are very excited to have welcomed over the Christmas/New Year break our second Echoes of Heaven filly to the OTI stable in Australia. From the Donna Logan stable in New Zealand, this well-educated filly is out of Norse Affair, who was a winner herself.
This strong filly has already shown some exciting potential by winning her trial most impressively on December 7. This was actually the fastest trial of the day for the two-year old’s. Similarly, our other Echoes of Heaven filly, Angelic Spirit, performed well at her first trial winning by two and a half lengths. Shen went on to win two races in her first full-racing preparation.
This filly has now been placed in work with Mitch Freedman at Ballarat. Mitch has impressive credentials including an 18% winning strike rate since moving to Ballarat four month ago.
We are very much looking forward to the future of this filly.
