Highly talented French import ready to make his name in Australia

Another very exciting addition to the OTI stable acquired over the Christmas/New Year period is Azuro, a four-year-old French gelding.

This horse has already shown some impressive form in his three-year-old racing career. In his ten starts in France; he had three wins and four placings in his three-year-old year.  Azuro will be heading to Darren Weir once he departs quarantine in early February who is also very excited to have acquired this gelding.

Azuro is by the champion 2-year-old sire Myboycharlie, who has had Group-1 winners in both hemispheres. In Australia, he is best known as Jameka’s Sire. Although Azuro’s dam does not have a huge amount to her name, the third dam, Rose Bonbon has a number of Group 1 winners including Danedream. The pedigree, as well as his proven racing success to date, indicate that the gelding out of Myboycharlie has a very promising racing career ahead of him.
